Single Cask Maturation

Magnus Heinason, organic single malt, second release whisky is a true single cask release -matured exclusively in one carefully selected first-fill Oloroso sherry cask from distillation to bottling.

Throughout its entire maturation, the whisky has absorbed the deep, aromatic, sweet, and nutty flavors imparted by this majestic cask.

We’ve meticulously monitored its evolution from barrel to bottle, ensuring it was captured at just the right moment - neither a minute too early, nor too late. With all due modesty, we believe the result is a genuine masterpiece.

Faroe Islands Finish

As with our first release, this second expression is finished with fresh Kirvi Volcanic Mountain Water from the Faroe Islands.

This addition brings the whisky to its perfect balance, reaching 46% ABV - what we believe is the ideal strength. The unique minerality of the Faroe Islands’ water leaves an unmistakable mark, making this a whisky like no other.

Tasting Notes

From start to finish, the sherry wood remains ever-present - delicate wine notes, sweet and dry at once.

You’ll also find fine oak tones with just the right hint of tannins, warm spice layers, and the crisp clarity of spring water that completes this rich, full-bodied experience.
